What is the difference between NOVA Serum and NOVA Facial Oil?

NOVA Brightening Serum and NOVA Facial Oil are both clinically proven to brighten skin, although they are different formulas with different active ingredients.

NOVA Brightening Serum is a lightweight, creamy serum that contains THD vitamin C to brighten skin. NOVA Facial Oil is a nourishing, bi-phase oil that contains niacinamide and rainbow algae to brighten skin in addition to plant-based oils to moisturize and provide an instant glow.

You can to use NOVA Brightening Serum and NOVA Glow Facial Oil together in your routine, as both are designed to be gentle on sensitive skin. Layering the two delivers complementary brightening benefits, enhancing results over time. Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes after applying NOVA Serum to use NOVA Oil to allow each formula to absorb fully. You may also apply these products on alternating days for a similar result.

We recommend patch testing a small area first before use.

How long do I need to shake it before applying?

Should I use the oil in place of my regular cream moisturizer or along with it?

NOVA Facial Oil can be layered on top of your moisturizer or used in its place, depending on your skin type and preference.

Since NOVA is a bi-phase oil that contains humectants in the water phase plus emollients and occlusives in the oil phase, it can serve as a lightweight moisturizer — especially for oily, combination skin types.

Dry or dehydrated skin types, or those living in cold or dry climates may choose to apply NOVA Facial Oil overtop of a moisturizer.

Should I use NOVA Facial Oil in the morning or night?

We recommend using NOVA Facial Oil in your morning routine, since it's rich antioxidants to help defend against environmental stressors, however, you can use NOVA either morning or night — or both.

Is NOVA Facial Oil packaging recyclable?

The glass bottle can be recycled after rinsing. Clean the pipette with warm water then gently remove it from the dropper by pulling downward, and recycle. Next, remove the soft bulb and discard it in the trash, but recycle the plastic collar.
